Perhaps. Most Pokemon seem fairly unique, even among their own species. Though I could be wrong, I suppose.

Time will tell. At least Trixie is not troublesome, although it would be best to keep her and Chaos separate.

Well, I wouldn't say she's no trouble. She does enjoy a good scuffle. Perhaps it would be wise.

Chaos is the trouble. She insists upon establishing dominance. The only Pokemon of mine she has not attempted to quash is Assumption. I am not sure why.

Perhaps even she is opposed to beating up little children. I should hope so, anyhow.

Perhaps. [ At the mention of his name, Assumption has come trotting over. He appeared from the side, very close to the camera, before playfully waving with a happy cry. ]

Assumption. [ At the mention of his name he walked over to Walter, plopping down beside him and leaning against his arm. ] He's fond of the Poke'Gear.

[Anders flicks on his camera to give a warm smile and wave in return.]

Hello, little one! It is an interesting device, isn't it?

[ Assumption nodded eagerly at the question. He liked the PokeGear! It had all their friends in it so they could talk to them whenever! Behind him, Walter watched his Pokemon with unmasked fondness and ease. ]

But - it is not a toy for Pokemon. Isn't that right, Assumption? [ Quickly the Cubone gave a sheepish nod. ]

[Leaning in a little, he shoots a wink to the creature.]

Don't worry, Assumption. We won't tell if you ever want to call us for a little chat.

Don't encourage him. He's already used it to broadcast a message to everyone. [ Walter admonished firmly but with a certain softness to his tone. Assumption, on the other hand, gave a big secret WINK back to Anders, little tail wagging. ]

[He isn't very good at hiding the great big smile that comes in response to Assumption's motions, but he does try to twist it into a polite one.]

Oh, of course. I wouldn't dream of asking your Pokemon to disobey you.

[ Walter hummed, clearly not trusting him. Assumption turned and leaned into Walter's arm, soothing his trainer's thoughts for the moment. Without thinking, Walter's hand rose and pet his back. ]

Good. He is a good creature...far kinder than any human I'd known. [ His voice lowers slightly, softly. ]

[That strikes a chord, and he actually feels a little bad.]

Animals tend to be like that. They have no ulterior motives, no fluctuating morality. If they know any humanly concept, it's loyalty.
