It sounds like you've made yourself a good home and family.
I..have one bug type. I'll make sure to put Midi in my active party.
[The mention of ghost types has one of said ghosts appearing, Bahamut the Mimikyu shuffling into view with a rather determined look about him. Fiend the Shuppet comes up out of the ground next to him, the normally cheery little ghost nodding solemnly.
They'll do what they can.]
We should have done more. We should have worked harder, though.
[He wasn't going to forgive himself for putting Cissnei through this. For letting it happen.
Mideel let's out a soft huff, finned tail hitting the ground.
They couldn't give up.]

[Diana's spent a long time debating sending this text. Simple as it is. She doesn't think Walter wants a text from her. To be fair it's more reasonable that he just won't care about a text from her. He very likely won't reply to it. But, with how he'd been at the labs... She's worried about him.]

Diana? [Several of them look upwards and Diana's voice is heard offscreen.]
Oh! Hi there.
We've only met her today. She is fine. Her and the other one have been kind to the young ones. They've not been chasing us or trying to capture us.

[The Marowak look at each other, unsure why Assumption is telling them this. Their children meanwhile, are approaching Diana to poke at her legs.]
Is that something we should be concerned about?
Is that something we should be concerned about?
[The little Cubone all suddenly gather back on the screen, chirping at Assumption.] You're leaving? Where you going?
Oh I don't doubt that, as much as I'd rather they not cause too much damage.
[Revenge was a necessary thing sometimes. Being a Turk had taught her that much so she really didn't mind the idea of her Pokemon doing anything rash..she just wished she was in a little better head space to handle it if it did happen.]
..Thank you, Claudia. I will. I won't let her down again. [He wasn't going to let anyone else hurt his trainer. Anyone that dared was going to be on the receiving end of a lot of pain.]

[The Cubone wave tiny little paws and call goodbye in childish voices before they see Walter. They all blink at him then smile and start chirping adorably in greeting.
Diana keeps the camera on them as she speaks.]
You know Cianwood? Well, on the other side there's this road and path that lead to the Safari Zone. Route 47 and 48, I think? You gotta use Surf though, but you'll already have that.

Well, you've got Fly right? You could always come by when you've got some free time. It's not a long trip. About 3 days maybe? And then you can always Fly back too.
[The Cubone continue to call to him, waving their little clubs and bouncing up and down.]
I bet they'd like to meet Assumption in person.

Alright. Sorry for keeping you on the call so long. If you manage to visit, I think you'll like it.
[Action] - A couple days after the message on the network
![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
The strange message on the network combined with Gloom's sudden disappearance had been more than enough evidence for Cissnei. She had already suspected something was up thanks to Gloom's chatty nature and inability to keep secrets but this had just confirmed it. While she generally wasn't one to get her hopes up without more concrete proof...Walter was a friend and right now she was willing to go on what she had.
Which is why she had sent some of her more skilled trackers out to try and find a trail to follow, Shuriken, Costa, Soldier and Tseng all heading out once they were back on the mainland. It was Shuriken that found their best lead and Cissnei set out with Rue for Cerulean City. Their companions met them there and they continued on foot, the few people that were able to give them something to go on indicating that the man they sought had most likely started out of town.
Swapping out her larger canines--Costa and Soldier specifically--Cissnei hit the road with Shuriken, Reno, Tseng, Mideel, Fiend and Rue, the group ready to travel whatever distance they had to in order to track down their friends.

The perks of being apart of an organization like the Turks is that you learn from the get go how to track people and how to do it well. (She had always been one step ahead of Zack and Cloud, after all.)
The swarming mass of Murkrow was definitely an interesting sight and an uncommon one in these parts as far as Cissnei knew. She also knew that a certain someone had a rather large group of Murkrow of his own. Her initial instinct was not to follow, to head in the opposite direction of where they were obviously trying to lead her but then she paused and shared a glance with Tseng. The Lucario nodded and turned to go, continuing down the path they had been head far quicker than the group would have moved as a whole.
A messenger.
Cissnei smiled to herself before motioning for the rest of her companions to follow, slowly trailing after the Murkrow though they would eventually veer back around to head towards the cape.
Tseng stretched his aura and used his abilities to seek out the individual he was searching for, his trek leading him towards the cape. He happened upon the house by Nugget Bridge first, though, and paused to scope it out, walking the perimeter. He paused around the backside of the house, ears flicking as he peered off in the direction of the cape, aura flickering slightly.
Yes that was definitely where he went.
The Lucario wasted no time in heading that way, using his abilities to keep a feel out for anyone that might have lingered behind.

Tseng made it to the Nugget Bridge as Walter was reaching the cape, the Lucario pausing at the start of it as he could feel the air cooling. Fog. Wonderful.
With a frown he set off across the bridge, using his Psychic abilities to keep himself out of sight and out of mind of the trainers and Pokemon patrolling the bridge. He didn't want to waste time interacting with them plus his trainer wasn't with him; it was better than he not prompt a fight whatsoever.
He came to a halt as he sensed something--someone--up ahead moving into the fog and he tensed momentarily as he tried to seek out their aura. His senses were a bit thrown by the fog and it was hard to tell just what it was but his best guess was a Murkrow? Hopefully it was just one. His ears flicked and he set off again, reaching the cape now and immediately stretching his aura out to try and find Walter.

Tseng was aware that he was being watched but he didn't know where the other Pokemon was and didn't bother to look. He knew enough about Walter to know that the man was always cautious and that his Pokemon were always protective of him and given recent events? It was no surprise that they were even more careful now.
So he continued on and tracked Walter until he reached the area below the ledge where the man was. Eyes glowing softly, Tseng looked up and tried to peer through the fog to see where the man he sought was. It didn't do him much good, though, and in the end he let the glow fade from his eyes and instead offered a bow.
"Cissnei was worried about you," he said through telepathy, reaching out to Walter and whatever Pokemon he had with him.
The young woman in question had indeed followed the path Tseng took with her other companions in tow though their pace was a bit slower. The group had just reached the end of the bridge and Cissnei watched the fog curiously for a moment before starting forward, Reno bounding ahead with a delighted yip as Rue flew ahead into the thick of it to seek Tseng out.
